Removing vent: how?

Hi, looking at many DIY threads I saw it had been almost always assumed by default this piece (front vent) can be taken away. But I do not understand "how": could anybody explain me, in order to do not damage anything? or lead me to another thread I didn't see where I can find some pictures?
Thanks for help friends!

Yes, the one on top of the buttons above the radio: I need to access to those buttons, and guess they should be removed from the rear, not from the front.
Thanks!

search for "audio" and "install" in this forum and you'll find the detailed pics of the audio 10 install and how to remove those vents. Its more or less similar for all years of the C-class.

Why do you need to access those buttons? There's not a lot you can do with them.

those vents are 100% easy to remove lol, all you need is...

1. Flat head screw driver
2. Plus screw driver
3. A bottle of Vitamin Water
4. A brain.

Thanks. I need to move the buttons that are in the left section to the right one. I need the left part free as have to "attach" here some tools and do not want to cover the button (ESP, for example).

Good luck with that. Its a solid PCB for all buttons, not 2 separate, and you cannot just reassign buttons without some fun soldering.

Find a different location for your 'tools', your idea will not work without considerable effrot.
