Aftermarket Audio System Question

Hey guys whats up? I had someone install my JL 10W6V2 sub today and also got a 1000Watt Alpine Mono Amp installed. The amp is not turned up all the way b/c i dont want to blow up my sub. Anyways the problem is that when i'm drivin more so when i'm applyin the brakes the subs seem to get louder sometimes and sometimes it get queiter. Everything is fine when the car is not moving. As soon as i left the place i realized this, i went back and told the guy and he messed around with the wires and added somethin new and i thought it was fixed. Just now when i went for a drive it started to do it again its really annoying but atleast its not doin it as much as before. Has anyone experience this before???? i'm not familiar with sound systems

thanx

Maybe you have that auto level volume in your existing system. Don't worry your JL can probably take all the wattage that alpine has .

ya thats exactly what the installer said but i'm pretty sure my car doesnt have it. I even checked the manuel maybe i'm wrong??? I just went to the garage to try to mess around with the system and i left it on for a lil bit and immediately it was doin it again gettin up to the level i put it and down and up its drivin me crazy. When its on right the car sounds great, no rattles. I really hope i can get this all fixed..... do u think its b/c i need a capacitor?? or maybe i just need a aftermarket headunit????

i never knew gettin a system was this annoying and confusing.......

IMO capacitor is pretty useless, our car's electricity system is pretty robust. Standard HU is pretty good for running a sub only. I think the Audio Pilot is the culprit.

You actually have 2 versions of the speed dependent volume. One is the BOSE and the other the HU. Now, happy searching.
