boosted IS300/ 05' c230 kompressor
newbie got a few questions
sup everyone
so i just bought my fiance a 2005 c230 kompressor { sedan }, today and i was wondering what the c\s button next to the auto shift is? second how come when i click the headlights to auto the foglights dont turn on also?
third question is what good mods should i start with ? the car seems alittle slow to me my boosted is300 will kick the crap out of this car but the c230 has a nice feel to it for a daily driver and very nice interior...

Welcome to the forum…
The C/S is Comfort and Sport.
*Comfort starts off in second gear and shifts at lower RPMs.
*Sport starts off in first gear and allows you to go into higher RPMs.
As far as the fog lights, that is by design…

so i've done a search and it seems the 05 cant play burn cd's or mp3's...i burned a audio cd yesterday and tried it today the oem deck seems to play for about 5 min and then it start to skip and freeze up..i am using a cd-r as posted in another thread .i dont feel like changing the oem deck or removing the cd changer from the dash , since the wife would be driving it most the time..so she doesnt need anything fancy like a navi deck or anything like that.

Doesn't matter for m271 owners. K&N is the only aftermarket filter available aside from the one that comes with the Kleeman Performance Kit and Carlsson Performance Kit. Already have spoken with Green filters and they do not have any plans to make a filter for the m271.

TEIN definatly treated me well......... AND funny thing is, every corner i come up on, i am reminded of taking the her in for her new goods.
I moved up Seattle 6 months ago, kinda fell off the forums due to lack of time, and i sent a few posts that i was new to the area, wanted to see if i could get some benz meet going, but no one ever replied... so i just slowly fell away.
BUT I AM BACK NOW, surfing yesturday... i see there are new toys i can invest in... that speed thing for the throttle etc... ;-)
NOW by irony... i started surfing 2 days ago, posted yesturday... and last night got rear ended and car is no longer drivable... SO i need to take some pics, and start a post... try to do it today :-)

or the standard reply is also........
K&N/Green filter, pulley kit, PowerChip, remove the resognator...
and for the biggest step in additional horsepower and torque... Get an AMG emblem off of EBAY... from my understanding it will knock off at least 2 seconds on your 1/4 mile.
On that note: make sure you leave the ZERO on the C230 or C320 when adding the AMG emblem.
why people dont remove the zero, i have no idea........
