Question 2003 C320 Base. Annoying P0172 and P0174

Hi all.
I have a 2003 C320 Base with a repeating MIL
I pulled the codes and got P0174 and P0172 indicating a problem with the MAF sensor.
I found some dry rotted vacuum lines and replaced them, as well as a new set of plugs, as it was almost due at 90,000 miles.
Drove the car for about a week, and the MIL lit up again.
Again, both codes.
Ran a live data and the MAF reading was way off.
Replaced the MAF, and still running great...for a week.
Once again, MIL is on, same codes, but live data is all good.
In the process of replacing the plugs and the MAF, I also replaced the air filters and the MAF mounting boot and seals.
If anyone has any thoughts, or has had any experience with this, please let me know.
By the way, the front SAM was replaced earlier because of a start and headlight issue, even though I doubt this has anything to do with the current problem

Thank you all in advance,
Chris
