Here Comes the Snow (Tires)
We bought a set of four 5 spoke MB OEM 2006 C230 front rims and fitted ContiWinterContact TS810s (w/V rating) to them. Three weeks ago it was in the 30's for a high and this week its been nearly 70 a couple days. Right after I put them on it warmed up. Next year, if we are still in the midwest, Ill put them on after Thanksgiving.
Anyhow we are supposed to get into the 'teens tomorrow with snow and ice. Im really looking forward to seeing how these tires perform on this car.
We really like our C230 and Im hoping that these winter tires make it manageable in the snow/ice.
