If you are serious about buying an Audio 10 CD player, search eBay in both English and German. I was lucky enought to close today on an Audio 10 for $168.68 + shipping (US). The only item I would caution is not to make the same mistake I did. Read the shipping conditions carefully. I skimmed over it and didn't read that it was to be shipped to German residents only. However, a quick e-mail to the owner cleared this up and I was able to have it shipped out to the US. BTW- I actually found this deal from another post on this message board. If you keep your eyes peeled you can find some really good deals on this deck.

I paid about the same for the radio as you did, the cost of shipping to the US is around 60.00 air mail or 30.00 by boat. I chose the air mail route.

I just got one from eBay.de ($259 with shipping)
I think the best strategy is to wait until 5 minutes before the auction closes and then send your bid.
I don't think is a good idea getting it from eBay.com because the price is going to be higher and you'll have more people interested on it (lazy guys with no intention to uses Babel to translate German to English).
Again eBay.de is the best source and you'll find at least 3 or 4 stereos every week. Make sure to contact the seller and ask for shipping to US.
Hopefully I'll get my Audio 10 in 1 week and I'll follow Session instructions to install it!!!

As of this evening the bid on this radio is almost at 400.00 what a rip off, you could almost buy two radios in Germany for that price.
