W203 Service Manual Now Available

For those of you who were waiting, the official factory service manual is now available for the W203. It is on DVD-ROM, and available from your local Mercedes dealer. Part number is P-2700-203-06. It covers model years 2001 to 2006. Pricing is set at the dealer, but it should be a bit under $100.

You informed me. I am going to order the manual tomorrow.

Thanks man!

wingless 01-05-2007 12:32 PM

Thanks very much for the info.

The P-2700-203-06 DVD manual was ordered today from MBUSA, (800) FOR-MERC. It will take 7-10 business days.

The cost was $60 + $4.55 sales tax + $5 S+H.

wizkid 01-05-2007 03:13 PM

My cost was $95. I have a real nice dealership!

Why do you think we renamed them Stealership?

RES 01-05-2007 08:51 PM

I ordered today for the $60.00 + $5.00 shipping. I hope it isn't as bad as my 124 manuals. hard to jump from one task to another when you have to remove one item to get to another.

I am just wondering how this DVD differs from WIS?

wingless 01-12-2007 02:24 PM

The DVD arrived. The copy protection is currently preventing operation on my office computer. I tried all the defined steps and am currently awaiting a response from the help system.

The DVD works fine on my coworker's computer, though. Lots of good stuff on the disc.

wizkid 01-12-2007 02:52 PM

The DVD is like a generic but well informed manual. PM with an email and I will forward you a copy of a install doc in PDF format.

It was worth the $95 I think. Finding stuff can be a bit trying at times but that will come with time. :)

PS I run it through Parallels on my Mac and installing was a bit of a pain at first because it said something about copyright as well but I eventually forced it to install. Works like a champ.

jturkel 08-02-2009 06:35 AM

update: been downloading now for more than 24 hrs. only at 35%. I've only been able to get speeds between 5kb/s and 70 kb/s and it often varies between the two. Hopefully this DL will get done in the next day or two so I can see if its the real deal

krisv420 08-02-2009 11:18 AM

Someone burn it to a disk or upload it to a torrent~

jturkel 08-03-2009 03:18 PM

slowest download ever.....74% complete. says about 12 hrs left, who knows at this rate.

The newer manual is already out that covers up to 2007 model. It is of course part number: P-2700-203-07.
