Instrument dash lights at night

Does anyone have any information on setting the instrument cluster lighting at night? I want to brighten it up? Is it preset from the factory? :confused:

turn the knob sticking out on the left side of the instrument cluster. this is the same knob used to reset the odometer settings.

dash lights

It took me awhile to find that dial too. I wanted to tone down the brightness of the oversized hazard warning light. I was quite happy to discover that rotating that little dial controls the instrument cluster lighting as well as the red hazard light.
