aftermarket stereo install problem, using vw harness (won't fit)
hi all,
i have an '02 c32 w/the cassete/cd changer system. i read on the forums that i could use the 1987+vw wiring harness to wire my car. well, i purchased this harness and took everything apart. when i got to the plugging in the new harness to the car part- i only had one piece that worked for the vw harness and nothing else. is there some type of modification that i must do to this vw harness to make it work with the c class?
i do notice that maybe the fiber-optic cable controls everything and this install may not be possible. any advice?

hi,
i believe i do have bose. how can i be sure? i know that i do have fiber optic plugins in the back and only one bank of the harness on the back of the stock stereo is being used. is the vw harness not compatible w/bose?
