(Late Thread)X-mas arrived..along with the Grinch..
X-mas morning I go to my friends house to open up a few presents and to get ready to goto Disneyland. I parked near the sidewalk next to my friends house. When I came out I saw a horrifying scratch that ruined my X-mas for about an hour
(Think a truck tried to make a U-turn and failed) . So off I goto Disneyland, while driving there this piece of metal bearing fell of a truck and hit my car. I arrived at DL and saw that my 2-3 Week brand new powder coating has been chipped! After the fireworks at DL I head back, and It was to dark to see what hit me, but I believe it was a rock. It bullseyed my fog light lens..

I'm trying to get everything repaired before the Tri State Meet on the 20th. Any idea how much the side impact strip will cost to replace, the scratch is about 3mm deep. I'm guessing around $150.00.

Damn, sorry to hear that. The wheel damage looks pretty minor and may be touched up easily if you're lucky. That kinda damage is inevitable. The others are probably bad karma!

That sucks to hear. I have an extra set of frosted lens foglights if you want them. The molding and painting can be fixed by a good bodyshop for a hundred or so. Scratches in the powdercoat of your flat black rims are inevitable. You could just touch up paint it for now, and then powdercoat the rims again later. Chances are, you're going to get more scratches in the powdercoat in the future with normal use.

Once it's fixed, you're gonna skeet when you see pictures of his car and the rims. Wait till pictures are taken at the tri-state meet.
There was an Aston Martin parked next to his car at TWS, and his car looked way better IMO.
