Thanks for the info regarding on how to remove the "No Phone"....I just had mine removed today...Now I have to come back monday cause they found an error code for the ESM while they were removing the No Phone feature...does anybody knows what ESM means? If its one of those sensors , I guess, thats weird my car only has 3500 miles on it ....

I went to a MB show on Sunday and there was a guy there with a mobile Star Diag. laptop demonstrating it's capabilities. I almost asked him to plug my car in and remove the No Phone screen but I thought twice about it. With the "No Phone" message removed, you're left with 5 menu screens correct? So if I'm on the "Audio" screen and want to get to the "Mileage" screen it's now 2 clicks in one direction *or* 3 clicks in the other direction?
With 6 menu screens the mileage and audio screens are always 3 clicks away in either direction- I don't have to look at the screen, or worse: remember which is the UP or DOWN button. This is why I'm reluctant to remove the no phone screen. If the case is otherwise then I'll reconsider.

avlis you are correct
The NO PHONE menu screen is gone so the number of clicks "to go around the loop in one direction" is lower. I prefer less, because I look at the menu.
Maybe not for you then.
