2001 c230K coupe

Scratched ashtray cover.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can remove some scratches from the metal ashtray cover (w203).
Are there any fillers or polishes that I can use. I would l like to try and fix it before i think about replacing it. Any help would be great!

I have very lightly used trim for sale for the coupe. What color is your car?

I am not sure how you would remove the existing scratches.
