Jumpstart Question!
I just helped my co-worker jumpstart her car with my Coupe. I had to remove some filter thingy to get to the batteries + and - terminals. I didn't have my manual with me so I need you guys to let me know a few things:
1. Is jumpstarting someone's car bad for my battery? 2. Did I have to remove that air filter thingy? 3. Or should I have just used the + thingy that extends from the battery and clamp on to the metal part of the car in place of -? 4. What is the air filter thingy? |
1. Jump starting is not harmful to your car if done properly.
2. No. 3. Yes. 4. HVAC filter |
Thanks Lynn. What does HVAC stand for and what is this filter?
|
HVAC = heating, ventilation and air conditioning
|
How often do I need to replace this HVAC filter? Or do you simple wash it clean and reuse?
|
It is supposed to be changed at each Service B.
