I was told that both Becker and Alpine make the casette HU. The difference is the color of the case. One is grey and the other is black. Don't ask me which is which. If all else fails check your code card. It should list a model #. If it starts with 'BE' its a Becker.

Becker does not make or take blame for the horrible Audio 30 Cassette for the current c-class. They do make the cassette for other MBs. MB was probably trying to save a dime and get the cheapest crap they can get away with so they made a deal with Alpine for their worst cassette radio and threw an MB looking faceplate on it.

Yup, just got my answer back from Becker when I ask for tech specs. I guess its overpriced, underperforming Alpine again. Just can't trust the MB techs.
