is it common for new springs to lower in the first few weeks/months? i would think that it would be better to get coilovers in case the sinking is too much, so you can at least adjust post-sinking. also, if the stiffness is changed as sinking occurs, is this something that can be adjusted once it settles?

This car is gone before that happens. Just need it for looks right now. Still trying to get my c55 or carerra s4 next summer. If all goes well, still gotta sell the ML.

Just bought Tein S Tech springs for my C240 yesterday. Hope I don't regret not getting the Basic CO.

If your not trying to road race your car, you will be okay. I have them and they are okay. Remember its a dress up kit, made to only lower your car for looks, not really improve ride or handling. But dont think about puttin anyone in the back over 60lbs unless you roll your fenders cuz you will rub, on turns & bumps, but then again im on 265/30/19's - May not be your problem. Just my .02 Good luck.

And in the long run, If you dont like them, your only outta $200 bucks minus install.

Rubbing shouldn't be a problem with my 225/40/18 and AMG style wheels

I'm thinking about lowering my car, but I still have stock wheels. I'm not going to have enough money to get a decent set of rims for a longgg time. So, my question is: should I lower on stock rims or not lower at all?

my coupe is the 7th family car, is been like 5 years till i got my driver license to drive her, none of my family car been modd except this one.

save money for rims first, and then think about lowering because i think lowering with stock rims made people thinks your car shock blow out

but didn't your car look way too high when you got rims and before you lowered? i think it would be nice to avoid that transition
