there's a reason why they're called "curb-finders."

yup, I've accidentally gotten it and everytime my parents have driven it, it's gotten more and more curb marks.

If I ever put one on my car, I would be absolutely pissed if I ever scraped it once! Wouldn't you try to avoid driveways that may be too steep?

that's what I used to think before I got it. it's inevitable and you'll get over it. it's not like it's life and death... many times you can't avoid things that are too steep.

I was at the bank drive thru and I cut to close. it was the loudest noise
and last night in Fort Lauderdale. I was looking to see if the Taco Bell was open and i hit the median dead on. It was ver y dark and couldn't see nothing.

Any tips for hiding the scrapes. I wet sanded the area as best i could. Clearcoat, touch up paint, shoe polish even?

theres the reason why i didn't go in on teh rieger group buy. for as much as i love the style, i just dont want to worry about my car being dropped and worry about if the speedbumps are gonna strip my car.

less worry. plus i have to battle a STEEP driveway. oh well...

Clearcoat! Its amazing how well brushing on a little clearcoat hides the scrapes.

When my mother takes the car out...she comes back with an average of two scrapes probably...I think she goes to towns/cities where curbs are as tall as your foglights

I eFFed up mine last Wednesday nite. I was on the 55 freeway and the car in front of me ran over a big chunk of wood so I just saw it pop up from under their car. We were doing about 80 so I had no time to avoid it. I just heard a loud smack and heard it tumble underneath my car. I was like great one more thing to fix. I wanted to pull over and check the damage out, but I just waited till I got home. So only the lip was damaged, missing some resin chunks in the front and underneath. You can see some spider web cracks on the top. I should be glad it could of been worse but still pissed. Now I am debating on whether or not to get a new one or just get it fixed and smoke it darker the same time as I do my hood.

greetingz,
What's even more amazing is that florida has no hills and no steep driveways. I f'edd up when after partying in Fort Lauderdale I was looking to see if taco bell was open at 4am when i I hit a curb. Just so you know it was a secondary street with no lighting and concrete island /median. I'm debating buying a new one .

Now I'm even more worried about the cf lips, and SoCal is notorious for having bad highway and street road conditions

Thats interesting. I mostly drive on the 10 and on the old 110. But some roads in the OC are quite nice and smooth
