I finally drop it.....

I just installed the tein basic CO on Saturday. Thanks to the info on the forum to take out the spring pad in the rear, I don't have any problem or noise. Ride is awesome. I may drop more in the back after it's settled in. Comments are welcome. Thanks.

My questions: Are your rear tires 265/30/19? If so, do you have any rubbing issue? TIA

Looks very sharp. I’d certainly admire and respect your ride if I saw it on the highway.
Would you be upset if I copied your wheels? Nice job.

$910 is parts and labor. Not just for the installation. I believe the installation itself around $160.

Thanks, John. I don't have a problem if you copy the wheels. But I think moven don't make this model anymore though.

Very nice. :y

I'm quite surprised you're not rubbing at all. I have the Tein Super Street CO and i was rubbing a lot in the rear with 265/30-19. My offset was 38 mm on fronts and rears, which also required hubcentric spacers in the fronts. What's your offset?

BadAssC230k 04-08-2007 11:10 PM

hawt! whats the lip width on the front? im guessing 8-8.5" wide right?

You wont have any problems wit your 18"s with max drop on tein basics unless your running a really awkward setup.

Yup, I'm running 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. Front lip about 2" and rear about 4".

Oh I have 10 mm spacer in the front too to clear the brake. I'm not sure the offset on the top of my head. I'll check out and let you know later when I take off the wheels.
