WOW! I got calls from both Hawk and Porterfield and both have told me they do not make pads for the 2005 c230K sports sedan....can anyone confirm this?? Here is the email i got from Hawk:

Our HPS would be a perfect fit but unfortunately we do not make pads for this vehicle. The pad shapes you need are:

Front: D1121 and Rear: D876

The "D" numbers are the shapes required for your vehicle. If you contact another pad manufacturer with these numbers they should be able to cross reference

Let me know if you have any other questions

Thanks

so from what i read, it would be safe to assume my '03 has single piston calipers....and '05+ calipers would be a slight upgrade? are c32 calipers direct bolt on?

i want some Brembos, but i don't think the price is justified because i only want looks, lmao. the stigma of bbk, i really don't need better braking, but damn it's sexy!

hmm...I thought AMG brakes were made by Brembo. At one of the stealerships, I saw an AMG caliper on display, as I looked closely, it had "Brembo" on it, although the "AMG" logo was more visible.

So, if Brembo makes the AMG brakes, then I guess we have Brembo brakes?

So, shouldn't we be able to paint our AMG calipers, put the Brembo logo on it, and honestly not be posers?

You say that now, but once you've driven a car with a bbk you will never want to drive one without.

i guess, but for now, i got enough stopping power. but dammmn, looking at them brembo BBK's are just hurting me. especially when i see my 9inch stockies, lmao.

iknow the amg calipers are made by brembo, that's why i just used brembo as the define all word.
