Braking Noise. Need Advice.
Hi Guys,
I got this brake noise when I go slow like 5 - 10 mph then brake it. the sound are so annoying, like old car noise or when I reverse my car. I went to dealer and they said they can't find anything wrong. The brake is still 75% left they told me. I am not sure if anyone experience this? Anyone installed Brembo? thanks guys.

some noise is normal due to pad material .
if you complain enough to your dealer ,,he should replace pads and rotors both ft and rear under warrenty.
if your car is still under 12/12000.
if not bg makes a lube that helps noise if you saturate the pads ,and put a non directional surface on rotors.
and chamfer the pads

2002 C230 Coupe Black/Charcoal C5 C7 Auto
in this same line whenever you brake completely or put in park (I have auto) the car wobbles (rock back and forth) a bit. this didnt happen on my Audi a4 (a sedan) and i want to know if this is normal in a C coupe. If not normal any suggestions? (other than getting stiffer springs).

Thanks for the reply. I complained 3 times to the dealer, but they keep telling me that it is normal and they said its not worth it to change new brake(meaning the brakes are not under warranty) I have 25,000 miles now. Do my brakes still under warranty? Thanks

Yes, I have experienced brake noise too. When I reverse off my drive on a damp morning and brake... CREAK!!!! ...before i put it into drive. This is veru annoying and get the odd look from my neighbours. I know what I would think..New MB creaking like a an old pick-up!.
After the car/brakes have warmed up, ther is no noise. But I still hate it. Grrr!

Mine have made noice since day 1. I bring it in every 6 months and they clean the rotors and pads with a film remover and I am good for another 6 months. They say it is normal and that to bring it in and they will clean it under warrenty. MB does not like new 40k squealers on the road.
