The Enkeis are very strong for lightweight rims. And I like how they look as well, though I honestly find it hard to beat your Works in appearance.

The AMGs, still not so much.

That's too bad about the fit of your Works and the brakes.

Just paint your stock calipers burgundy and reinstall them. We won't tell anyone.

The offsets in the front are +32 for the wheel. Do you know what offset I would need to make em fit? It looks like ill need at least a 15mm spacer to have them clear.

how was the clearance when you had the stock brakes? i would think you'll be ok with 10mm?

edit: i have et30 on the front with a 5mm spacer, so it's et25. et30 clears on mine, but i just threw the 5mm on to be safer.

Well im running a 5mm spacer right now and with the stock brakes there was a 2.5 finger gap between the face and the stock caliper and it doesn't clear even with the 5mm spacer with the amg brakes. . . Maybe i gotta test out a 10mm.

test out the 10mm then. see how it goes. your 8.5 has more lip then my 8.5 LM up front tho. mine is 8.5" et30 and it clears the AMG caliper as well as my Brembo GT, but i still threw the 5mm on the front to be safe.

Do you know any reasonably priced quality spacers? I only know H&R and they are ridiculously priced.

i thought H&R are pretty fairly priced. check out allsprings for the H&R spacers they have them for $90 a set.

other than that probably some ebay shop will have spacers that are cheaper.

Very pretty and well done sir.

I saw that the new C-coupe is officially coming to the US. Think you'll ever make the switch? I know it'll be my next new car purchase.

C350 Coupe (CL203)
The new coupe is going to split their sales for sure, you are going to lose those that don't want the sedan look, and that were interested in the CLC style of coupe, the new coupe strikes me as a guess of **** poor lazy desgin, it will likely be 95% the same vehicle as the sedan, with only 2 doors, whereas in the past the Coupe has always been its own car/design back of the front doors.

The flip side of the coint to that is they will increase sales from those that wanted a 2 door COupe, but could not afford to sacrifice the practically and size of the sedan, with the larger boot/trunk capacity.

Personally, i think they have screwed up, you want a 2 door sedan style coupe you have the CL ... they have missed a golden opportunity to take the CLC in a new direction, with new styling and updated design, and to drift it away from the C class a little more to give it it's own identity.

I will not be replacing mine when the time comes with this new style, i might go to a CLC if my experience with the C Class Coupe remains good, but certainly not one of those new ones

To be quite honest. . . I don't really like the new c-coupe all that much. I think this coupe right now is going to be my last mercedes for a while actually. I would really love to venture in the world of Porsche or an S2K for my next ride Ill probably own the C230 until it breaks down.

Well the CLS wheels give it a more sporty look. I think if you paint them then they'll turn out sick. Don't have good photoshop skills but I think black like your other wheels should make it look nice?
