I'd agree with Frank and Xhale on the aesthetics. Plus, they've got to be damn heavy.

All your curb rash belongs to us, too. It would only be a matter of time.

These wheels are a bit lighter than my works actually

I may be able to get these and keep the works . . .just have to see how trading my Carlssons works out.

When I got my wheels, they came in two boxes. Each cardboard box had one front and one rear wheel, a ton of packaging, and several other pieces of cardboard in them to prevent the wheels from banging together. Each box was listed at 54lbs - Id say thats not bad for a set of OEM wheels!

I'm surprised; avg of 26-ish lbs/wheel is quite Twiggy-ish for a Benz product. Kudos to MB!

I LOVE the style of the wheel on your car. honestly looks so much sportier to me. Id even keep them silver, i love the contrast.

on the other hand, with them poking out and the dangerouslly skinny tire, that aspect is absloutely hideous.

Oh they only stick out that much because I stacked both a 25mm and a 5 mm spacer togther haha  I was seeing how it would look with a +3 offest . . . and by the looks of it, I really like it

Hmm, I'd have to say that Terry's widebody coupe, once finally done, was certainly the shizzle.

Holly crap. When you said +3 I thought you dropped a 3mm space on the rear to make it et30 in the rear. No wonder the poke is insane looking. Did you have your fenders rolled?

paint job was good, but overall the car looked like the original Honda insight with the way he did those rear panels which looks fat and un-inspired...

especially from this shot

Haha! I couldn't have said it any better myself It just doesnt look right at all imo. A couple of months ago I saw this car for sale and thats when I saw more recent pictures and it really changed my perspective on Kineda's coupe. I would although give all the credit to him for inspiring me in getting the Recaro Pole Position seat though

I kinda like the star

I like the star, hell, we've paid enough for it, why remove it ! ... i do see where your going with the styling, and the repainting of the stock grill does make a huge difference and makes it fit in so much better to your concept.

I have the facelift grill with the drilled panels and i think it does look better than the early solid slat styled ones, have wondered how it would look painted to match !

I'd leave that one on for now, it'll grow on you for sure

errr...... NO!

i don't think any more needs saying, but, as someone is going to say "why you say that?" i will humour them.... lets see.....

1. Rims too wide for the car/tyres.... looks crap, period (not to mention the fact you will trash them in about 100 miles !)
2. This is not some Japanese import junk (or mexican) the tyres are too low a profile for the car styling
3. Style of the rims is wrong, you need the deep dish style you had, or the Brabus monoblock VI look or AMG IV, even the Mercedes Hoedus style would probably look better
4. Because they just look/are wrong, the car needs the staggered wheels to LOOK staggered as well (different rim dish depths) - those don't and they look odd because of it
5. Anything that requires that much thought on the spacer selection and fender modification had better be worth it.... and those aren't !

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
1) those were only test tires, not the actual one he would mount.
2) this includes width and heigth.
3) instead of deep dish hes going for concave
4) subjectively needs to have a staggered look, the car sits so low, not sure how anyone can enjoy the look of a wheel thats an inch wider in the rear
5) he is crazy for wanting all those spacers.
