URGENT...Need Help!

I just received my pair of HID headlight's converted with a ballast to 8000k. I installed the lights and they do not turn on, neither the city lights, high beams, or low beans which are supposed to be HID. The blinker lights however do work. Ive been trouble shooting for the last 2 hours and i have no idea what to do with the lights. Does anyone have any idea what the problem can be and why they are not turning on?

Are you sure that you have connected the wires correctly?
I would start by chekcing if the colors order didn't get messed up.

Then make sure that you are folowing the suggestion in the diagrams provided.

What MB you have?

yeah...check if you pluged in correctly, but if you are using plug-and-play HIDs, it shouldnt affect anything else except ur low beams.

Yeah, my buddy and I were searching the headlamps for any loose connections and we didnt notice anything out of the ordinary. I just got back home with the regular frosted lights on . He unhooked the battery and then rehooked it after a few minutes to see if maybe the ballast's needed to be reseted somehow but that didnt work. All that gave me was a screwed up sunroof and my windows dont got up automatically anymore, hopefully the car recognizes the operations by tommorow because I dont feel like going to the dealership tommorow. I doubt that my car would have to be set to xenon present for these because the seller on ebay informed me they were plug and play, and i also checked his feedback from other buyers of these lights and they did not have any negative feedback. One weird thing was that the new headlamps burned out my city light lightbulbs because i used the same ones from the old housing. I just have no idea wants going on. Any other ideas? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120166769300 Those are the lights.

I was thinking, sorry for posting again so soon but I am just very frustrated, does the engine need to be turned on with the lights off for a few minutes for the ballast's to ignite? But then why would my city lightbulb's burn out without the low beams turning on? And the high beams didnt work either...ugh so frustrated. I also emailed the seller asking what brand ballast he sent me and that the lights dont work. But the housings did look good on the car for the 2 hours they were on the car.

hummmm, that is interesting. So your saying you have everything hooked up correctly, and that all connections are tight. What brand HID did you get, Carlab and Mtech are the only brands i would trust when it came to HIDs. make sure you didn't get a shytty set of ballast with your kit. that is an automatic failure for you lights to not come on.

Thanks for the help guys, but Im embarrassed to say that I did not plug in the connection to the housing from the car in hard enough. I took it to a buddy's house that just put a hid kit on his Stealth TT and hes looking at them saying that nothing was hooked up wrong. Then hes like lets try plugging them in, so i plug them in and hes like "man you gotta put the prongs in all the way" and he pushes them real hard and boom they went on. I was ecstatic But yeah, they look great, and the 8000K bulbs look so much bluer than the xenox's on my friends G35 and new CTS. So im likin it. I can see as good if not better than my OEM frosted lenses too.
