Great thread, JohnCL.

Some of us receive a certain pleasure from catching up with the parts guy with the requisite number(s) in hand. No doubt, he appreciates the legwork because it saves some of his valuable time. All the better with which to get trade pricing.

The Mrs. knows I have more OE receipts in the file than I care to remember…ouch! I’ll post up some numbers when I can dare to look. For members in good standing, if there is a particular part you need, lemme know because my EPC subscription is destined to be shared.

Just some updates part numbers. They are all the same product. I saw that you got some, and I need to again for the sedan. These mirrors are the best and should be standard in the US.

Top two numbers look to be the Euro Convex mirrors (glass only).

Bottom number seems to be the whole assembly.

Just basing on what came up on the Duval website.

with the 2005 + u can activate the auto folding Feature for the mirrors and a few other things that the 2001-2004 doesn't have.

Yes, it is true that 2005+ gives you the ability to activate folding mirrors with lock/unlock function.

I don't know what else can be done on the 2005 that the 2001-2004 can't. I do know that early w203 models somehow loose functionality of the PANIC button when Netherlands is activated, however, I did not lose the PANIC sound when Steve activated my lock/unlock beeps.

splinter 10-25-2007 10:12 PM

Front SAM/SRB:

203 545 30 01 through chassis number 743166
203 545 42 01 from chassis number 678998

Rear SAM/SRB:

203 545 32 01 through chassis number 734166
203 545 34 01 from chassis number 678988

Please be aware that the part numbers were superceded during the model run, thus the overlap.
