Noise from Speakers when Heat Kicks in in Cold Weather

I used to get that long time ago and the dealer fixed it somehow. When it's cold out and the A/C is set to Auto, I hear a noise from the speakers for a fraction of a second when the car warms up enough where the "Auto" decides to pump air in the car. The noise sounds like someone just connected the speakers to the stereo you know the noise if you ever connected speakers to a stereo that was on, it's the "contact" noise. The noise only happens once per trip basically when the car warms up and it's not really loud but it's startling the 1st time you hear it. I know it's not a big deal but if it's something I can easily take care of I'd like to do it since I am selling the car. Now, if the dealer "fixed it" and it came back what's the warranty like? The car went out of the 4yr warranty in April.
