I would suggest contacting both your local police and the police in the town where the money was sent. To report mail fraud just read here http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/

that really sucks, this also happened to me before on this forum, I bought a set of BIX from E320kieser, but I don't think he ever come back to this forum since I paid him. Good thing is that I pay with paypal, so I did get my money back, but that's like 2 months later.

Was he from Nigeria, I had some of those on Ebay. What a pain. Just make sure to check your account when paid. They sent me a fake Paypal e-mail that looked just like the ones you get when someone pays. So I almost rushed out to ship. Then something wasn't right with the e-mail. So I logged on to my account, and sure enough it was fake.

It's amazing to me that people will commit a felony to get $300 bucks in their pocket. If prosecuted he could do a couple years, but these days, it's easier to
see a kid proscuted for stealing a candy bar, than someone who steals thousands through fraud schemes, and not ever get in trouble.
But in case the person in question is reading this, you are commiting mail fraud, a serious felony. You should really think about the consequences if you get caught. Not to mention, it's not cool.
Your ISP could provide address info just based on your mac address on your computer. And then you won't be so smart ya freakin' crook.

when I was in college I "bought" a laptop for $500...got scammed and was sooo mad...
