Bi-Xenons, Good or Bad?

Hi, I'm probably getting a 2003 C320 4-Matic. I'm wondering whether I should go with the Bi-Xenons??? Anybody have them? Have pictures of them aside from the ones MB has? Any experiences/opinions? Do they look better in real life? I can't for the life of me figure out where the Turn signal is? Which of the 3 lenses does it blink out of??

Thanks for the Input..

Change of heart

I used to think the new Sedan bi-xenons looked bizarre, but I have to admit they're growing on me. I'm not a big fan of the C Sedan's droopy eyelid look anyway. The C 230 K's regular headlights look more perky and I have no concerns about them aesthetically or functionally. I'm sure the Xenons are more efficient too, so go for it.

I love my bi-xenons! ... they look great!. The normal stock halogen headlights look "muddy" if compared side by side with the bi-xenons. I think the bi-xenon will change the way your car look.
The light output of the bi-xenon is amazing, you should see the high beam on these bi-xenon! it will light up the whole street

I'd say they're worth every penny

Oh...pics for comparison.

wow, your car really looks sweet. by the way, the front turn signals: are they the same factory bulb (1156 or something) that the non-xenons use. just curious. thanks.

Yep...its right there where the black arrow is, I'm not really quite sure if the bi-xenons are using the same turn signal bulbs as the ones in non bi-xenons, but I think they’re the same.
On the bi-xenons the turn signal bulbs are yellow tinted

Don't get them just for looks, but because they actually help night driving. Does anyone else actually notice this, or does everyone just get them because they now look cool?

2002 cars look almost the same with our without, but I got them anyway for the functionality.

Honestly speaking I got them because of the looks, the extra light output is a bonus . But I wouldn't buy the bi-xenons if they look the same look as the non bi-xenons.

Heres a pic of light output comparison at night, left stock, right bi-xenons

honestly, i don't really care about the new design. the whole arguement is whether to have the Xenon or not have the xenon. If my car is a 2003, i would still get the bi-xenon because of its functionality.

if it's solely for looks, i actually think the stock looks better.

I've got one with the xenons. They look absofskinglutely incredible. After you've seen one you'll never care to look at one without it again. It looks 100x better than the hazy non-xenon version.

Bajaiman, what bulbs are you using for the fogs? They are pretty white.

For the foglights I used Eurolite bulbs, much cheaper compared to PIAA or Razo but at least they do a good job for bulbs at their price (US$20)

Well, i need some help here, i own a sportcoupe 220 cdi and have the normal lights, i went to my mercedes dealer and asked if i could put the new headlights. And he said that mercedes -benz in Portugal never had an light swap, from normal light to oem, and it was very expensive, the lights, cables, materials and beam convertors and so on, plus the laibor time. They said it was praticle impossible and coeted me like 5000 U.s dollars for the new headlights more o less.
And now i see you doing that transfomation.
Please help me, how it is possible?

I always wonder why people still order cars WITHOUT Xenons anyway...Xenon is a MUST.
I swapped the halogen lights in my SL for Xenon lights because of the looks and after driving the SL at night seceral times, I searched high and low for OEM Xenons to upgrade my 202 C250D with. Both Xenon sets were worth the money spend.

Regardless what car, if you order it new, get it with Xenons!

greetingz,
