I don't like this pic!!!!!
let's compare the sedan with a hyundai.
i think bmw look like hyundais, even some times kia. lexus does look like MB, but i think that is because they just copy off of MB. just my opinion.
as for the c230 looking like the corrado, maybe. i think putting side by side in the pic makes them look simliar (is it to scale?), but i cannot be certain unless i saw them next to each other in front of me and not in a pic....

To say that they look alike is proving your ignorance of design. The Corrado, although a good looking car in its own right, was a rather boxy, angular car, its front end was a near perfect rectangle, and most of the rest of the bodywork sported slab surfaces which came together at abrupt angles. Its definately got that "Arts and Science" theme that Cadillac likes to talk about.
The C230K is smooth, wind tunnel sculpted look. It has no slab surfaces, many of the surfaces have compound curves and flared arches. I admit the rear of the car could have been handled better(although the distinctiveness of it does grow on you) but the rest of the car is a truly handsome shape. Much more sensual than the 240 sedan.
The first (Giugiaro) Scirocco was a nice-looking car in its own origami way,...

I must say you do have ways with words Mike T.
I agree with Vadim, the C230 does not look like the Corrado, in any other way other than A) its a hatchback B) it has two doors and four wheels.
