Haven't updated this thread in a while, since I haven't done much to the car...
The car has a little over 113k miles on it, so it's showing some signs of wear. In particular, the plastic piece around the buttons on the steering wheels--they're all scratched up. I've been meaning to wrap it in 3M vinyl, but I've been too lazy and it would take a lot of precise cutting, work, etc.
I saw a precut overlay for that exact piece on eBay. It was a little pricey for what it was, but the convenience factor was huge.
Here it is:
I also figured that I'd share these "pro" shots of the GT-R, which has been getting a lot more track time lately:

Those are neat! I'm not into CF that much for my car so I wish somebody made different patterns or colors but I didn't see any on ebay.

Those button assemblies were replaced on my car due to scratches under warranty over 100,000 miles ago. The new ones have never scratched up.. almost seems like a different material.

Phil, not a big carbon fiber guy, but those look pretty damn good. A nice subtle mod

Thanks, bud!
Mine were replaced under warranty too shortly after it arrived. Not for scratches, but the rubberized material was peeling off. Mine look perfect today. Definitely a different material on mine.

Do you think you can post some pics of yours? I wonder what the mid-cycle change was...

It's the end of an era.
I'm selling the SSR's off of the W203:

nah, there's no point to selling it. it keeps my insurance down and it's not worth much. might as well drive it until it dies.
the 19's have just been a hassle in LA and the front tires kept on getting punctured, so I decided to just go with 18's. I'll probably update the thread on the "new look" on Saturday/Sunday.

So, the 19's are off and I've replaced them with 18's:
OEM 18" AMG Styling VI's from the CLK63 AMG. 18x8 and 18x8.5 with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 (I went with Hankook Ventus V12 Evos). The rear wheels are slightly concave.
The car is so much more comfortable now and I'm liking the contrast of the gunmetal in the wheels, lol.

Out Of Control!!
I'd agree - they look good on the car.
Now, blue painter's tape for numbers on a $100k sports car... Phil, a real number set would cost you less than a lug nut. Especially with a blue car. Oh the humanity!
