2005 CD changer install questions

2005 CD changer install questions
So I have a used changer on the way for the "MOST" system and I'm trying get some info before the install. I checked the fuse box and there already is a fuse for CD changer slot. This car came from the factory without a changer.
I assume there will likely be a power cable on the back or passenger side.
Will I need a optical cable? Can I get it from the trunk like the 02 models and do I need to be concerned about open or closed loops? Will it be necessary to pull out the HU?
Any additional info would be appreciated.
