Lost a Piece Changing a Bulb...
Hey Everyone,

Was hopeing someone could help me out. I never knew changing a headlight bulb on a 01 C240 was so difficult, until I tried changing mine just over the weekend. Unfortunately during the change, I lost one of the odd looking metal "springs" which holds the bulb fixture in place. Well I went to the dealer and they told me they don't sell it individually and that it comes with the entire headlight fixture...

Any ideas as to where i could find this piece?

was it the piece that twists clockwise to lock the bulb in place? cuz that piece is like impossible to get...i know cuz im missing them for my high beams

I think he's referring to the metal clip that holds the H7 in place, and then you put the connector on. It can easily fall off if you're not careful.

Thats the one LuxuryC240. i think the Junkyard is my best bet, thanks e1000....

I put it on top of the engine cover.... and then who knows
