sevice questions and stuff

it is time fro service A and i am about 50 days behind.
i want to do my own services and i have done some searches
but can someone tell me what u recommend for southflorida in terms of the weight of the mobil 1 oil.
also, above the battery there is a filter, is that teh actual air filter of the car? or the cabin filter?
most importantly, my car lost battery because i accidently left the lights on and i have tried to reset the sunroof but it still is moving in a jerky way.
the windows worked fine.
also how do u reset the clock, it is way ooff
lastly brakes, i have the drilled ones, is there a good place to buy parts or about how much should it go for to have brakes done . thanks
You can re-calibrate the sunroof by holding the button all the way open for a couple seconds and then all the way closed for a couple seconds.
Clock can be set through the guages using your steering wheel buttons.
Measure your rotor thickness and see if you're at minimum thickness. If it's time to replace them, just get them at the dealer. As for pads, lots of people like ceramic based pads that dust less than OEM. Akebono and Porterfield are two makes that seem popular. Make sure they send you the correct ones. If you've tripped your sensors, you'll need to buy 1 new one at the dealer for about $5.

You can get new rotors and pads for about 300.
But at 34K miles you should only need pads, less than 100 bucks.
Akebono's rock. Check on tirerack for those.
As far as oil goes, there should be a little booklet in with your manual,
that shows temp ranges and oil viscosities.
Likely you'll never need the Zero part of the 0-40.
I run 10-30 and 5w-30 at this point, which according to that brochure is well within any temp ranges I'll encounter in Norcal, and I got the oil on sale for a buck a quart.

oil these days is multi-viscosity, just run 0w-20 or whatever the car calls for, and youll be fine, no matter where you live.

cabin

hold the sunroof button for longer than a few seconds while its open and closed, it should work fine once you re-sync it, the clock can be accessed from your steering wheel controls. READ YOUR MANUAL

ive tried the sunroof trick and it still isnt cooperating
ill check out buying the cabin fliter online and the pads,
those things are pretty much all one needs to do right for basic service
