Retrofitting frome Audio 20 to APS 50 ?
Hi!
I have baught my self one APS 50 and an GPS antenna. I have the Audio 20 now sitting in my car. I have heard that its almost Plug´n´play installation. But i want to be shore. So have anyone done this operation. If so please if you could explain some. Thx! |
Yes, several have upgraded to Comand. Please read the stickies and other threads on this subject matter.

ok but its not command im installing its the APS 50 comand and aps 50 are to different things!

And you fail to mention what year you have...makes a huge difference! after 2004.5, the audio uses a MOST system.:nix:

Should be plug and play but you may need programming, especially if your fibre ring doesnt match that of the person who you bought it from. For example, if you have a CD changer and the original car did not, then the Audio 50 likely isnt going to boot up until you reconfigure the fibre ring.
Why not just upgrade to comand? I have a Euro comand for sale by the way ;) |
