That's the parktronic. Very cool feature (like xenon) that wasn't available to me in 2K2. But a 2.3 was, so I aint *****en ;-)
I haven't a clue what the switches next to the shifter are.
I don't care for the AMG style airdams underneath the front. Looks saggy to me.
398lb/ft@2,000 torque though. That's insane.
Torque is very fun. My electric bike has it (one guy broke his wrist when it wheeled and flipped him off)

i was gonna ask what are those buttoms on the side of the gear lever. i know the new E-class have those. Don't know what it does though.
the thing on top of the dash vent is the parktronic like todd said.
Todd, all the new AMGs have the kompressor badge except the new CLK55, which will still use a N/A engine.
that thing you posted is funny...although it's quick to the 60 and 1/8, 1/4 miles, but what about after 90 mph and when you are on the freeway.
how much is that thing when it really goes on sale anyway?...it sure is efficient though.

I don't know but ya, it sure is efficient. I wonder if the emissions are low enough to be a viable alternative to gasoline. Would be a hard sell in the US for a long time though I think.
