Pics of my C230 w/ AMG 18" Double Spokes

Just got them yesterday with Pilot Sport A/S tires. What do you guys think?

BTW anyone know of a way to lower only the front since the rear looks just about right.

Yes! Put them on my car!

they look great.

If u want the front lower just get new springs (of course i mean 4), When i had my H&Rs put on with the stock spring pad only the front looked lowered. So u can get H&Rs and if you do not already have them get #4 spring pads for the rear and the front will be the only thing that will really look different.

Thanks for the idea BlackC230Coupe. I was hoping to find a cheap way to do it but unless anyone else has a great idea I'll just do what you did.

Very nice!

I guess it'll look even better if the car is lowered. Btw...whats the wheels/tyres sizes?? and how much did you pay for them?

So that's like "raise the rear" instead of "lower the front"

Check this thread for the various spring heights. With the #4 pad in the rear, they all lower it less than an inch. H&R appears to lower the front the most.

pk kid, it is raising the rear, but you are lowering all four so the net effect is that only the fronts are lowered (the rears cancel out)

The sizes are 18x7.5 all the way around w/ 225/40 Z-rated tires. The wheels were ~$430 each and tires were $231 each.

You will not loose anything from it. Only gain better handling and looks.

Awaiting a new arrival...
Where did you get these and was there not an option for 8.5s or larger in the rear?

Looks great, I was waiting for these to become available and show up on someone's coupe.

Nice wheels! I've been looking for those on a sedan.

AndrewK, is your coupe on stock suspension in the pics?

I got them at www.statusimports.com -

Yes its the stock suspension...

There was an 8.5 rear option but I wanted to be able to rotate the tires and the Pilot Sport A/S wasnt avaiable in 255/35, so I went with 7.5 all around. I think I may put some spacers on to give the wide look though.
