Cool climate air conditioning
mine sounds like a jet plane (C180 w203 model) when some of the vent are closed. Is this normal? If I open all the vents, it sounds normal. It might be the air to the windscreen...? anyone has any strange or loud sound from the air condition?

yes I get the same annoying noise in my 01 c240. atleast now I know that all the vents open will stop it , let me try that out

the noise sounds like sound sort of jet air; anyone has this problem? Maybe it is meant to be like that...

ok i opened all vents and i still get that same noise . kinda embarrasing when passengers ride in the car, sounds like something is loose and spinning inside

you changed your cabin filter.They get filthy and the air flow gets restricted and loud.

Or is it a hissing sound?In which case you might want to check you r134a you might be low.
