Weird A/C problem

Weird A/C problem
Ok here is my situation... it seems asthough my my A/C sometimes falls asleep... it will turn off completly and then after I mess with all the buttons it turns back on... it's the weirdest thing... anyone have an explaination for this? It only happens maybe 2 times a week... I never noticed it in the winter so the issue only seems to happen with the A/C on... it happens at random times sometimes when I first start driving and sometimes after 30 minutes or so. I'm so confused...

15 views and no replies? Guess i'll just live with it... it's not that bad of a problem and I refuse to go to the stealership and pay them $150 just to look at it.

Fortunately, you wont need to pay the dealer to find this problem. It is fairly common. You are going to need at least a new blower regulator and probably a new blower motor. They first replaced my blower regulator and that did not fix the problem, so then the blower motor was changed and that fixed the problem. No issues in 18 months.
The bad thing is I would think this is a fairly expensive fix. I was fortunate enough to have this problem fixed under warranty. Good luck.
