Thumbs up BRABUS WHEELS

I have a set of brand new Brabus MB V 2pc. wheels. I have posted this before. I will beat any price you find. I really need to sell the wheels. Anyone who is in the market for these wheels can contact me at 9494130897 or email me at calvinlgoh@hotmail.com.
The wheels will come with Pirelli P7000 tires and all bolts and centercaps.
Another set of wheels for sale is the C320 Sport Wheels. These are used for about 3000 miles but are in MINT condition. There are no scratches at all and tires are still "new".
I have to sell either set. Pls get back to me ASAP if you are interested.
Thank you.

BRABUS Monoblock V

hey guys...i wanted to know what your opinion on these rims are?
a few questions though...would you guys have any idea how much they are?...say 19 x 8.5 / 19 x 9.5?....secondly, how much do these rims weigh in at?...lastly, what's the differences between 1 pcs / multi-piece rims?....i believve that multi-piece is alot more expensive, and i think someone told me that it is better in construction in someway....thanks

p.s if you have to have this rim on your C-class perferably on a C-Coupe, could you post a picture of it?

imho (in my humble opinion), i don't like them. right now, i like the lorinser RS5 and the RS6 wheels. the RS5 more. if i didn't have the c7 wheels, i'd probably get one of those.

but, i vaguely remember luke at tirerack saying that lorinser wheels sucked.

Limited Edition,

i am not sure what the cost of the 19's are, but this may help you...when I was getting cost of 17's..the lowest qoute I got for the Brabus monobloque V were $2650....that was with Michelin Pilot A/S...225/45/17's. I think the 19's were in the neighborhood of about $3500..wheels alone.

I saw direct from Brabus that the 19" 2-pieces are over $1000 a piece. 18" one piece are around $400 so thats ALOT for 1 more inch. BTW I think they are THE nicest rims for the C-Coupe!

I think the Lorinser LM5s look the best. The monoblock VIs are pretty darn nice too. I guess I'll see those on my sister's car when she takes delivery of her 2003 SL500 in March.

Thumbs up

AndrewK..hey.
yeah i have to agree with you, that these are one of my favourite and in my own opinion one of the best looking rims for any C class. They appear to me like ACS type III rims for 3-series.

I like the Brabus wheels myself, but went with the new AMG split spoke wheels. I looked into the Monobloque VI - I like those over the V's. Here are some more prices...19" 2pc set...$3880. 18" 1pc set.....1898. Those were wheels only. I was surprised that Discount Tire are authorized Brabus resellers. They may give you a better deal than going directly through Brabus.

Here in Panama, my dealer gives me 4 Brabus Monoblock V 18" wheels and Toyo tires for $2530. You can do the math. I have a question about them. My dealer told me that in the 1 piece wheels, the wheel sticks out a little at the 1/4 and 3/4 of the height of the wheel. Is this true? I'm very interested in knowing this since I may scratch them when I park VERY close to a curb. Thanks for your help.

Why do Lorinser wheels suck? I haven't heard that one before, and I sold the stuff since '94.

lee, i don't know why. i just remember luke at tirerack was asked once why they don't have lorinsers and he made some denigrating remarks about them. i don't know if those comments were in jest or not.

BRABUS Staggered or Standard??

I'm getting a set of Brabus Monoblock V's for my coupe when it comes in, the question is whether to get the standard width (18x8.5) or to get the staggered (18x9.5R). Will the staggered work on the couple without having to mod the fender? Is there any real advantage to the staggered?

I think people who have cars with a lot of power get staggered since it provides more grip (wider rims mean more tire). It also looks better if the wheel well is filled. But if your engine does not produce the power it is not essential. Also, you cant rotate your tires so I recommend you getting the same size all around. Thats what I did when I looked into it.

I looked into the staggered in that size. Brabus says that the fender needs to be rolled some, as did my local shop that sells them.

They're also more expensive, and heavier. Though contact patch will be bigger, and they just look good. There are plusses and minuses. The biggest plus for me would be to hear how they worked on your car, so I think you should get 'em.

on a C230, the standard width is probably best. you don't have enough power (even if you chip it, etc...) and the aded weight will slow you down, unsprung weight is the enemy! it also allows you to rotate your tires, which facilitates longer tire wear which SAVES YOU MONEY!

get the staggered, you won't notice any power decrease without a stopwatch, plus it just looks better

BRABUS rim weight anyone?

What is the weight of one piece Monoblock V Brabus rims 18" for a new C? I called Brabus and they told me 30lbs. Is this right? It felt light when I got them. If anyone has any info Id appreciate it.

I can't answer for certain, but I believe most of the aftermarket MB tuners (Brabus, Carlsson, etc) have fairly heavy wheels. 30 lbs. for the Brabus doesn't surprise me.

I believe when i got mine sent via air, they weighed out to be about 45-50lbs each. Though that is with tires and air in them, but that is only an estimate!!!

If Brabus NA doesn't tell you over the phone, call Ronal. They are the OEM for Brabus rims, along with many others...
