i paid the same price to have Netherlands enabled, i also asked them to do the fuel content mod at the same time, but they had no idea what i was talking about. Does anyone know where you can do this at?? I know Steve can do it when he's in town, but any other local shops that you know of??

To enable some things, you might need to go to someone that has an Engineering DAS laptop, something most/all dealerships do not have (they have a regular DAS). But Steve (MBenzNL) does have one.
With my netherlands setting, the dealership couldn't figure it out the first time. Only after I printed out a step-by-step process with pictures included, were they able to figure out how to do it.

Just a warning to you guys to not get your hopes up too much when going to the dealer and asking to have any special programming done.
Half the dealerships I've been to don't want to have anything to do with messing with settings if they don't know what they do. And most of the mechanics I've dealt with don't really know their way around Star Diagnose except for the day-to-day stuff that matters to them.
I had Sunil program the following in my car:
- Tire Pressure Warning
- Seat Belt Chime Off
- Fuel Left in Litres
- Active Cornering Fog Lights
More info on that here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/194828-nickgailloux-s-2005-c230-timeline-pictures.html
After talking with some of the local mechanics at the dealership here, its apparent that they have no clue how to do any of this. If you do find a good mechanic who's willing and able, please share their contact information for others!

and anyone with a pre-2005 model, don't get your hopes up either...
for some of those features to be enabled, you also either need an updated 2005+ front SAM, rear SAM, or whole new Instrument Cluster module.
most of those enabling settings are done by the pros (Steve & Sunil). Your average MB dealership will be clueless and probably incapable of doing anything beyond setting the alarm beep and setting Bi-Xenon to present.
- Search for the threads.

Interior Motion Sensor (IMS)
I had that done on my C-Class and I've posted pics of that install.

There are 2 types of beeps. A slower mellower beep, and a faster sharper beep. If you search for Netherlands setting, there are some threads that go into quite a bit of detail, with some video clip links. Or you can also search youtube for "netherlands setting."
I preferred the slower beep, but ended up with the faster one. Not sure if each car is coded to be able to choose which beep you want or not, but my thinking is that the older model vehicles from 2001 to early 2005 have the only the slower beep while the newer 2005 to 2007 models have only the faster beep. In fact, the loaner C's that I've had were all 2006 and 2007 models and all of them have the faster beeping. My car is a very late build 2005, having been built in Bremen with a date code of 04/2005. 2006 models started being produced in 05/2005. So, because it's so close to a 2006 model, mine has the faster beeping. Can anyone substantiate this?
However (big HOWEVER), on the pre-2005 models, Steve (MBenzNL) can actually program the frequency of the beeps using his developmental/engineering version of DAS.
You'll never get a dealership to figure that out.
I kept the slow beeps + Panic on my 2003 C
and the fast beeps + Panic on my 2004.5 C

You are correct. Production stock 2001-2005 had the slow beeps, mid-2005+ had the faster beeps.

To hook up with him, well, you're kinda out of luck, because of your location. Steve lives in the Netherlands, and travels to the USA 2-3 times a year.
Steve goes where the business is. And that means that most of the time it's California. He will go to the East Coast if (and only if) there's enough customer base to make it a worthwhile trip. Meaning, you need to get together with people in your area that want his services (check his website: www.MBenzNL.com ), pre-pay and schedule the date.
For example in California, he might stay 1-2 weeks depending on the number of customers and service performed.
You can also check with Sunil who is based out of Houston, Texas, but frequents the Pacific Northwest and the Mid-West from time to time. You may have to drive out of state to meet him, but it would be worth the time & effort.
Do searches for both "Sunil" and "MBenzNL".
For non-programming type parts, you can order directly from Steve through his website and e-mail.
