C-Coupe @ 75,000 Miles

My 02 couple just turned 75,000. Thus far, three major problems over the course of ownership:

1. S/C belt replacement (under warranty)
2. Alternator failure
3. Cooling fan replacement.

I'm generally happy with the car, but these big time repairs will make me think again about MB.

Anyway, I was wondering what I should be doing now if I want this car running smoothly to 100k and perhaps beyond. I've heard of:

1. Transmission fluid flush

Anything else for longevity? Thanks!

Flush cooling system & replace coolant if not done. Change brake fluid every 2 years.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Fuel Filter
Spark Plugs
Tranny Flush
Coolant (Zerex G-05)
+ the usual stuff, ie air filters and wiper blades.

Your alt failure and fan were no likely partially due to the belt breaking.
(Every 50K on those...)

And 100K is the recommended time for the diff oil too.
You just need a 14mm hex I think, which is a little hard to find.
