After my service B yesterday, while driving home I heard sounds from my tires - sounded like a flat tire, so I stopped, checked all the tires - they're fine EXCEPT one of them is missing a nut! So I called 1800Mercedes (see my other post). Then I was told that the technician forgot the last step on the list - "to Tork it", he was amazed that I heared the sound and called them, otherwise it could have been MUCH worse - such as loose my tire on a freeway. They got it fixed in 10 minutes, inspected it to make sure it's all fine and no bent parts, apologized for 30 minutes and offered me a gift certificate to a restaraunt or a full tank of gas.

i'm glad to hear that you didn't get upset with them. we're all human after all. of course, if they would had been less helpful and apologetic about it, that would be another story. i love my service department. i try to be as friendly as possible, even if they screw up. that way they'll remember me and help me out as much as they can. of course, having a small dealership helps.
