Removing Dash Center Stage Speaker Grill?
I have a really annoying rattle coming from the center speaker grill on my dash so I want to remove it to fix the noise, but I can't figure out how it comes off.
Can anyone help or does anyone have a link to a step by step guide or pictures?
Thanks!

Search the forum for PTS and you may find something...it is "snapped" in with four or six (or so) large self expanding clips. You need to protect the dashboard and with a non marring thin tool get in there and release the clips. From there you can pull up the screened grille work.
Do you have HK sound?
Good luck, post pictures if you do this...The rattle may not be coming from here...

I've been wondering how to remove also. Prying from above doesn't seem productive and there was no way to remove it from below when I removed the center face level vents.

That's right - Six...I would use non maring soft tools to not damage the dashboard. I hear you need to press on the dash a little, at least use a soft piece of plastic / credit card type part to protect it.
Those of us with the later cars and the cost out scroll wheel - I am not 100% sure - put you may be able to add in the fresh air wheel if you buy a new tray and grille...I hope to gain this fresh air option (That the HVAC box is not sealed - just the new grille tray) when I install my parts from MBENZNL this spring / summer...
Good luck all, please take pictures and post,
Thanks,
Jake
