hi guys im having a serious issue. I just had a Pioneer F90BT installed along with speakers and amp. I also used the Pioneer Car.Pi.i.133 steering wheel adapter. I sorted out the issue with the radio reception, but for whatever reason i lost complete control of the heater/defrost/etc beneath the HU. the light will come on, on the buttons but i dont get any heat or defrost or anything. Now my installer is telling me hes tried everything and im gonna have to take it to the mercedes stealership....anyone have experience with this issue??

Your installer either disconnected something and did not reconnect it, or damaged one of the connectors on the back of that climate control unit. He screwed up. Swapping out the HU has nothing to do with the problem you're having. This is why I refuse to let anyone but me touch my car. If you think you're up to it you might want to search the forums for the radio removal instructions, you can figure out how to remove the climate control unit and check the connectors based on that.Originally Posted by 22justin

More than likley one of the connectors on the back of the climate control is disconnected, I had a similar issue when I installed my Z3...the small black connector in the middle of the unit.
