I live in Lebanon & France... the c320 was for LEBANON.
There whenever you buy a car, there is extra fees... For exemple Custom Fees for
c230k 2002 : around 5000$
c320 2003 : around 8000$
C32 over 13000$........
same for bmw's, 325 : 5000$, M3 : 11000$...
So with nowdays economy, a c230k 2002 in here costs around 18000$ for an average mileage car (80000 ?)
C32 +5000 on its U.S. price & +5000 on the customs fees & +1000 on the registration fees... that makes a difference

... taxes are a funcion of HP + Year of production + MSRP + luxury level (taxes for c320 are less than those of e320 and s320 and so on...)btw thats not fair

yeah i know taxes in other countries are huge. My ex gf told me, the import tax in vietnam is 100%, so you pay double for the car.

I think I've narrowed it down to either a 2006-07 C230 or a 2004 C32. I want some more performance but I love that updated interior. Looks like they're basically the same price, any opinions about those two.

get the c32 i've been lookin at them such siick deals and the performance is hands down... it is plenty fast for DD imo if you want you can always do pulley kit, headers and filters later on.
just tint the windows do a few mods and keep it clean you have a perfect DD

I saw a c55 with ~30k miles for 28k NEGOTIABLE!
I love the word Negotiable...
That's probably going to cost you 28k after DMV Taxes with the right amount of coaxing, but hey... you've got yourself an almost new C55 for 'peanuts.'

who cares bout bix now you can always do those later. but doing a engine transplant later??? $$$$
if you find a sick deal for a C55 low miles without bix get it anways. you can always do bix or aftermarket xenon. the HP will make up for it

I've definitely settled on getting an 04 C32. Anyone know of anyone that is looking to get rid of one in the near future (June..) I'd love to get one with a couple mods already done to it, just the basics tint, headlights fogs, and possibly drop. Its a lot to ask for, I know, just hoping...
