big diffrence from stock halogens huh.. you should get your fogs too, you will be able to see a deer crossing from 100 miles away.. i have matching 6000k headlights and fogs, man it is freagin bright..! looks clean though.. :y keep the mods coming..

bbrain Apr 11, 2009 02:36 AM

how is there no error or flickering with a 35watt setup? i am planning on buying a set but everywhere i read on here they say to get the 55w.

saer1one Apr 11, 2009 04:44 AM

im guessing for your headlights you eighther get your car switched to XENON PRESENT using the star das computer, or you can buy the hid set that comes with the built in resistors..

rrpnow Apr 11, 2009 01:46 PM

looks nice... im interested in buying them... just to confirm, i wouldnt need to take this to the dealer to get xenon set to present correct?

Fitty Apr 11, 2009 03:58 PM

I wasn't sure about the error messages either but these said they were plug and play. And thats exactly what they are. no wiring done on my own. Did NOT have to go get xenon=present, just opened the box and plugged in the lights. 35w with no errors!:zoom:

Fitty Apr 11, 2009 03:59 PM

O and yes i plan on gettin the HID fogs/high beams i just wanted to test the quality of these lights first before buying all 3 at once.

seagel1000 Apr 11, 2009 04:06 PM

They must have resistors/capacitors along with the wiring? Can you post a pictures of the wiring harnesses?

Outkasted24 Apr 11, 2009 07:56 PM

I really want the 5000K for the extra $15, But I'm still a little Skeptical of the Flickering and code issues, How are these kits so Cheap yet work perfectly on out W203s???

Can you post more pics of your kit?

Thanks!!!

Are the city lights and sidemarkers really the hoens? They don't look very bright.

Fitty Apr 12, 2009 12:17 PM

lol yea they are, they used to look sexy next to stock but 6000k changed that all up, still better then stock tho

Fitty Apr 12, 2009 02:10 PM

Sorry for some reason they keep coming out blurry up close, here is the driver side headlight kit

The yellow and brown wires are from the stock headlamp for the H7 blubs

Did you get the single beam or bi-xenon beam? Also what type?

e1000 Apr 12, 2009 05:20 PM

did you just leave the dust cap off?????????

I don't know what's going on with your car but these kits WILL throw an error if used for the fog lights without error cancelers, resitors or capacitors.

LILBENZ230 Apr 12, 2009 05:29 PM

It does look like he left the dust cap off. Is this fine to do?

e1000 Apr 12, 2009 06:51 PM

sure, if you want moisture, dust, and other debris all over the inside of your headlamp housing.

Not to mention the possibility of a short or other electrical problems because the H7 connector (as seen in pic) uses a bare prong that's just slightly exposed.

I highly recommend drilling a 1" hole on the back of the dust guard and using the supplied grommet.

Fitty Apr 12, 2009 06:59 PM

No the cap is on, didn't have the dust cap in when i installed them bc i wanted to see if i was gonna get error messages or not. They are the single beam kits

I will be gettin the fogs/ high beams eventually but im gettin my CL style grille next. Don't really need the highs yet since not many pple see me drive with them lol

skittles Apr 12, 2009 07:34 PM

did you have HID's already before this?

W203E35 Apr 13, 2009 06:13 PM

Will I get an error because They have the Bi-Xenon for 72.99 which I think is a good price.

I hope down the line I dont get any errors or flickering.

Edit

What a wierd site they also sell Tatoo Kits looool
I dont know I hope these are the real deal.
