Fsck'ing HVAC system...
I replaced my broken foot well actuator lever last year and all was well
until this morning when half way to work. I noticed that with venting
set to 100% face vents and blower speed to 3... output seemed weak.
Put my hand down to the vent under the dash and WTF there's air coming
from the foot well vents!
I re-synced the actuators, but I'm thinking the motor has died.
Sigh...
At least I ran into a guy at my office that has a very nice '07 CLK500.

I feel somewhat less... agitated now after successfully diagnosing and
identifying a cracked vacuum line on his CLK.
And of course now AutohausAZ is selling the vent actuator for $67.45
while I seem to remember it being only $49.95 or just a few weeks ago.
They always seem to raise the price on something just as I need it.
O2 sensors last year were in $150+ each now they're $125.
I should just preemptively purchase parts that may come in handy from now on,
but I don't want the wife saying "you have an unhealthy relationship with the car" again.
Do I win a prize?
