You can normally find good set of tires for your rims without sacrificing ride or $$ since you only have 16s. I used to have 17's and had Nexen 3000 on them which was a really cheap tires and ride was still good. Tires didn't handle that well on wet surface though but they did the job. Maybe check out www.tirerack.com and plug in your rim size. You should be also should be able to go to a local shop. Nittos might be a good set to check out. I"ve seen affordable ones at my local shop. I currently have Yokohamas S drive tires but for 19's and they are great. Not pricey either. I got them from tire rack.

Your better off going to a Local Place and seeing what kind of haggling you can do, The problem from ordering from tire rack is that you have to pay for shipping and once it gets to you and you take it to get mounted, your gunna get charged alot because you didnt buy the tires from them.

Try your locals sears autocenter or a just tires location. They usually have the best deals.
I got new tires on my 06 2 days ago from just tires. They had the best deal from my research

I have Kumho Ecsta ASX on my 02 coupe - they have been great, ride well, quiet, good grip all year round - I have been very happy with them.

Got them from tirevan.net - see if they are available in your area - great service, they will recommend a tire for your car but the best thing is they come to you! wether at home or your office they arrive in a truck will all the tools and tirebalancing equipment they need to do a professional job of mounting and balancing the tires major convenience plus they are cheaper than Tirerack

no point in being super cheap since you have 16's you can get some GREAT tires for about $125-$150 per tire since your wheel is small.

I love tire rack. Even though you have to pay for shipping, the price is still cheaper than the local retailers after they throw 50% markup in different things to drive up the cost of a tire.

Recently, my GF had to replace a tire that had a blowout. At wheel works, a $78 tire turned out to be $125 out the door. At tire rack, I had to pay sales tax (I live in Nevada and they have a wharehouse in Reno) and pay for shipping, and still would up saving over $100 after getting 4 Dulop Direzza'a.
