Hi,
Im a new member to MBworld.org and i currently own a 2005 (Silver) Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor.
Looking forward to being apart of the MBworld.org community.
Future Plans:
- All round 35% tint.
- Dark red tails lights (mean look to it)
- Deciding on adding spacers on back two tires for style.- Adding new rims within a 3 month time period (currently stock sport rims)
- Upgrading from stock stereo system to bose.
- Looking for more future body mods (ideas please?)
I will be adding pictures tomorrow after i fully detail my car.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. I also have a 2k5 C230K, make sure you check with the dealer and see if your car has had the vacuum hose service bulletin completed. I had that problem 3 weeks after bringing my car home! It's a free fix from the dealer, and will save you a ton of headache. Call the dealership and ask about campaign number 2008020002.

I have had the vacuum service completed already, but for a free fix it sure would be recommended to be done.

I honestly havent had any issues with the vacuum hose so i wouldn't know, but you can search the forum and find your answer but since it is a free service, i would suggest taking it to the dealer and getting it checked/fixed.

I currently do have harman/kardon in my C230 Kompressor but i am planning on a upgrade to a bose system since i am a bigger fan of their system ever since ive seen them in action and to me, Bose is one of the best car sound systems a mercedes benz could have. Harman/Kardon is a good sound system also but over time they are beginning to fade away in quality, In my opinion.

That said, you aren't upgrading a HK system to a Bose system. I can imagine it would be cheaper to buy a separate, Bose equipped car to go along with your Benz.
