Thanks alot!
1 - The AMG bars will fit, but you do have to use the new links from AMG also.

2 - dunno

3 - see #1

4 - Yes on AMG, dunno on Eibach.

Thanks

I'm surprised otoupalik doesn't know this.

The Eibachs fit the sedans. I should know I have a set on my C320.

Can someone verify AMGs endlink part#

Is this the right part# for AMGs endlink to fit the sways on a 2002 C240?

203-323-21-89 Rod $47.18 (2 required) ? Is only the front required?

Thanks again for answering my questions!

LOL - I never trust anything till I have seen it or know someone who has done it - now I do!

I have learned that what manufacturers and retailers say is often far from accurate!

Glad to know they do fit!

Thanks

Brad

PS - curious, Why did you select the Eibach or AMG over ours? Market research, you know? Thanks

no, but it is fair to say that is one of the primary reasons that we started our company!

It is also why we manufacture our own stuff. We will import and sell other product when it works. However, we feel that much of this product is not geared for the enthusiast and/or is way overpriced.

Thanks

Brad, I would have loved to purchase one of the Evosport swaybars since I have read nothing but positive things about you and your company. However, since I do not have an unlimited supply of funds (hence a c240 instead of a c32), I do have to watch what I do buy. =)
Adjustability is not of real importance to me, so that feature did not attract my decision whatsoever. But a price of $300 something vs. $545 (if I am not mistaken) is a little too much of a price difference to justify the purchase....I am slowly but surely saving for a Kleemann kit that I may get from you guys anyway! (so $9 G's vs $545 towards your company isnt too bad anymore, is it? =)

Thanks again, btw any word on the verification of the AMG endlink part#?

The main reason I picked the Eibachs over Evosport's was the price factor.

Eibachs was $345 when I got it. Evosport's was over $500.

Does that mean the main reason to pick the AMG over the Eibachs is the price factor?

AMGs where $170 and Eibachs where $350. I mainly did it because the AMGs where available and the Eibachs weren't. I originally ordered the Eibachs but after waiting over 2 months I gave up. It's hard to imagine that AMG is the value leader though!

well.... what if the AMG bars are not up-to-par w/ur expectations in the handling department. i know im not. so... gotta go aftermarket! yea... one of the reason is because of price. i thought 200 bux difference VS few seconds on the track.

No.

The AMG sways don't perform well enough. The evosport and Eibachs are more at par with each other. That's why it came down to the price factor.

I believe the C32 front linkage uses a bigger bolt so your Eibach front bars have to have the holes drilled out if you want to use the C32 links!

yup, I believe that to be true as well.

I know that whomever installs them should be careful. A freind of mine had the AMG ones put on his car and the installer srilled the whole too large!!!!!!!!

Thanks

What happens when the hole is too large? Noise?

Noise plus it slops around and it is likely to break due to the jerking. The bolt slides then is yanked when it hits the edge of the hole causing lots of stress on it. Use some kind of shouldered washer if you can find one to fill the gap.

Correct part number is 203-323-26-89 with code 486 for the front only. The AMG rear endlinks are the same as stock C240/C230.

Yes, you will need AMG endlinks becasue the bolts on the endlinks are differenct in size(at least on the end that is attaching to the sway bar)!

For the front end links, check with your car's VIN number at the parts dept. and make sure you have different ones; otherwise you'll be just wasting your money.

Here are the part numbers when I bought them last month.

FRONT ASSEMBLY:
203-323-31-65 - Front Bar ~$70
203-323-22-85 - Rubber mount (bushing) ~$4.50 (2)
203-323-26-89 - End links ~$45 (2) with code 486; optional

REAR ASSEMBLY:
203-326-15-65 - Rear Bar ~$75
203-326-00-81 - Rubber mount (bushing) ~$7.50 (2)

And you'll need a set of Torx sockets for the job.
