Coil Overs or Cup Kit...
what is the difference in the ride between the two: H&R Cup Kit or Coil Overs? I know that there is almost a double in the price between the latter. Which one rides harder? thanks!

i don't think you can even tell which one rides harder... but the handling characteristics on the coilovers are much much better than the cup-kits. oh... and coilovers and be lowered than the cupkits.

i actually read it on the magazine... they did a comparison test. for springs and shocks, cup kits, and coilovers.
the coilovers scored the highest in skidpads and all other department, and where cupkits came in 2nd and spring and shock combo came in last. by last... i meant the stock was the last place. but.. out of the three aftermarket setup.
all 3 were by the same company. it was H&R as i recall.

Out Of Control!!
I would ask those people if they have actually been in a C Class with the H&R coilovers. The truth of the matter is that most people speak based on either experience in a different car, or what they hearsay. The H&R coilovers are much tighter, but keep the Mercedes comfort level in the C Class, and DRASTICALLY improve the handling.
