need help.. weird issue that i never heard of..
Thanks god my dad was around.
We jacked the fronts and like an idiot we used the mercedes benz jack to jack up the passenger rear. When we were putting back the rear left tire the mercedes benz jack started to tip over (towards patrick).
We started yelling and cussing in two different 3 different languages (English, Armenian and Filipino)

Patrick's arm got stuck between the wheel and the rotor. I was trying to hold the car up. Then my dad rushed to our rescue. Keep in mind my dad is me and Patrick times 2 so he was a big help. He held the car while I went to get an actual jack.
Then we jacked up the car from the rear (jack stand point) and everything was ok. Patrick was shaking like crazy (felt like he drank 3 monsters all at once. What's weird is whoever comes to my house they leave shaking and then some

)So that was our story.
We didn't want to mention this because we know we will get bashed
but looking back at it, it's just good times.Overall we learned our mistakes. Also we got lucky that Patrick put the stopper on left rear. I have a feeling his car would have tipped backwards if we didn't have this and you remember the slant between the garage and alley?

hahaha!
anyway. after one day observation, car drives ok. brakes are perfect. no vibration. but still pulls left.. i guess i have to align again. so yeah. im gonna clean the butt of the strut today. observe the whole car the whole week. see if any oil comes again. the knocking sound is louder now. really not sure if its rotor or bearing.. but like i said ill observe for a week. i guess if it goes back to vibrating the wheel bearing is really bad. and if it still does it. then rotor swap.
anyway great day yesterday and great day ender! that car was bomb!

EDIT: just read about the wheel bearings.. they are really suppose to be just hand tight. nothing more, nothing less.

I think if your rotors are really bad when you brake with a little force the pedal or steering wheel should shake.
I remember compared to the right side the nut was more loose.
I have a hunch that the oil was from your coil over. The bottom of the other coil over was clean but this one did have grease.
Continue monitoring it
so now its the wheel bearing OR hub.. now i have to figure out how to tell which one is busted.

Chrysler brake pads on a Mercedes

like i said. i used to work at GM. so i see all the part numbers and for what applications. i have the same with the chrysler van. i even put my oem and my current pads side by side and they are a perfect match.
You still getting the ESP?
